  1. There is a church under the sea near Ballyheigue called " Teampall fé Thuinn ". Long ago Kerry Head and Brandon were joined and there was a grave yard a mile from the coast, All the Cantillons, who were lords of Ballyheigue, at that time, used be buried there.
    Then about a hundred years ago the sea broke in and covered it and made Ballyheigue Bay. But this did not stop the old custom and they used to put the coffins on top of the cliffs. The dead people used carry the coffins out by night and they used bury them in the church beneath the
