- There is a holy well in the north side of the Glen Dahillon mountain, People come there paying rounds for the good of their sight.
There is a church there also but only for babies. There is a good cure in that well for any disease. Long ago there was a convent there and sea-robbers sailed into the shore and the nuns and the Rev Mother prayed to God that the sea robbers would not interfere with them.
