    On the night of the sixth of January at twelve o'clock our lord turned water into wine, and it so turns still.
    St. Patrick's Day falls on the 17th of March but only in Ireland, because he converted Ireland to the faith. We wear badges on that day in honour of St. Patrick.
    On St. Brigid's day people go round with a "Biddy" looking for pennies. The "Biddy" is made of a stick with a mangold for a head.
