    How they used to thresh 14:12: 37.
    Long ago when the people used thresh they used put down a boarded floor near the stack of corn.Then they would tie two stick about a foot long together with a piece of a rod called a gad this was a flave.
    Then they would leave the sheave on the ground and hold one side of stick in their hand and then hit the sheave with it .Then they would turn up the other side of the sheave and keep hitting it until all the oats was gone. Then they would
