    on the top of the hill ,so it got its name as "Mountain View".Here the children used to taught by an old master named "Master Nehell" from Corles.His father lived where Mc Carther's shop is to-day.He taught his son "Michael ' and when he grew up the "Moloneys"left him the school to teach the children so by and by all the children of the locality gathered in.
    The master's father was married to "Biddy Gormoley"from Lough mountain,and he had two children "Michael and Julia .he had a small grocery shop and one acre of land .The children in the schools at this time had no copies half the time only slates they had no ink only ink made
