- Something similiar to the Story of Toftus Hall (see other collections from Sth Wexford) is told about Tottenham Green, a place situated about two miles from Taghmon.
This place was formerly owned by Colonel Tottenham.
The devil, in this case, was put out of the house, through the roof - some say through the floor- by a Father Murphy; and it is said that for a long time after his banishment that no slates could be kept on that part of the roof.
