  1. There used to be a fellow digging for gold down here wan time. His name was Peter Brien. I saw some of the holes he made meself.
    He used to bring thread with home. He used the have that all around the way he’d hear anyone coming.
    He used to have Holy Water, and they say when you’d be digging for money like that that a life would be always lost. So he used to bring a chicken with him.
    Wan night the purty boys watched him. They waited until he had a good bit of the hole made
