- In Ireland there are a great many holy Wells, blessed by the saints when they were on this earth.
Although they are plentiful in other districts, there is but one holy well in this parish. It is situated on the hills of Bunduff. The people still visit this well on the seventeenth of March. It was St. Patrick blessed this well and every St. Patrick's Day a crowd of people visit this well. A public station is performed that day, and the priest preaches a sermon on St. Patrick. The rosary is also said by the priest and congregation.
Private stations are done by the people for certain intentions, such as, to cure toothache or a cure for cattle. People have great faith in this(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
