    he went on board a boat at Bantry. Sugrue was away for seven years and never wrote home to his wife, or she was not expecting any letter from him, because she thought he was the man that was found dead. After seven years John sailed to Bantry in the same boat. When he reached his home it was late at night. When he was passing the kitchen window to his surprise who was talking to his wife but young Ryan, the fellow that was always fighting with him. He went to the out houses to see how many cattle had his wife, and when he was going there, What did he see on a bush, but the suit of clothes he gave the tramp, the night he was leaving his home to go to America. He could not think how did the clothes come there. He thought the tramp came to his house and that his wife took the suit of clothes from him in order
