Ar an leathanach seo

  1. The most harmful weeds that grow on the farm are, thistles, nettles, and dockweed. These weeds are harmful because they spread and take the good out of the soil. Farmers don't like thistles because the seeds spread and the farmers are bound to cut them.
    The herbs or plants that grow on good land are clover and trefoil, but rushes grow on bad land.
    All herbs and plants grow in our fields and ditches and some of them are used for medicine.
    Spearmint is a well known plant grown at the end of our gardens. The stem of it is square and a pale green in colour. The leaves grow two at a joint and are of a blackish green in colour. The leaves are the shape of a spear and have the taste of mint and that is how it got its name.
    When boiled this plant is used to stop vomiting and other disorders of the
