Cill Mhichíl. - A Dursey boat was going to town one day, and off Crow Head they met a drowned man. As they were going for provisions, it would be unhandy for them to take in the body; so anyway, they didn’t take him in. On their way home they didn’t see any trace of him. The tide was high when they reached Dursey, so they moored the boat at Poll Bithóige on the eastern side of Oileán Beag. When they went east in the morning the dead body was across the rope that was mooring the boat. The night was very calm and the wind was east; so it was very remarkable how the body came to where it did.It is said that it isn’t right to(continues on next page)
