- One night many years ago there were a number of Dursey-men out net-fishing to the north side of the island at a place near [?] Faill Chumney. There was a Leary man there from Tigh-Lic-a-Finne and also Jerh Mhór of Cill Mhichíl. They had one boat which was of a very funny shape and not a very sea-worthy boat surely. After a few hauls they took a good share of fish and they loaded the bad boat fairly deep. Jer Mór was in her and he was protesting very strongly against loading her so deep(continues on next page)
