“In our district there are not many local happening.”
In our district there are not many local happening. May was a very dangerous time of the year for ships in times gone by when the rolling icebergs used to strike against the ships and split them in two. Many ships were drowned and thousands of lives were lost. Long long ago in Ireland houses were very easily burned for they were nearly all thatched. One of the houses that was burned was belonging to John OConnor, White-Walls, Co. Tipperary and also the Barrack of Murroe. They were burned by some unknown persons. All the furniture was destroyed. In our country in the year 1913. A great many people had a disease called flu. A great many died with it.
