    A man and woman were travelling along the road one day and were grumbling about their unhappy lot in life, putting the blame on Adam and Eve for eating the forbidden fruit. A rich man happened to hear their discussion and asked them why they were blaming Adam and Eve for their poverty. The man said he blamed Eve for tempting Adam. The gentleman said to them that they would have done the same thing themselves, but they assured him they would not. He then invited them to the house and gave them a room in it and everything they wanted. There was a dish on the table covered with a lid and they were forbidden
