There is an old house and an old church and a mound. They are about a half a mile from the main road. They are situated in Gaulstown.
Robert Rochfort at first lived in the old house and he shut up his wife maliciously and when she died her ghost was seen in the room. When Robert Rochfort left it an old lord named Lord Kilnane came to live in it. It is now an old ruin. As the story goes a priest cursed it and said that the crows would fly out through the windows and his words came true.There are carvings of old Lords over the door. The walls are nearly fifty feet in height.The old church also there. It is a Protestant church. All the Protestant people are buried in the graveyard. It is
said that the Devil was seen in it.
