The Magpie and Owl.
The magpie builds in the top of a very tall tree. She lays five eggs and she hatches for a month. She is a speckled bird with a long tail. It is said that if you robbed a magpies nest the magpie would come back and rip the wool off the sheep's back if you had any. She does not emigrate.
The owl is a speckled bird. She lays four eggs and hatches for three weeks. she is afraid of every other bird and therefore she sleeps during the day and looks for food during the night.Andrew Keogh.
