He died about thirty years ago about the age of sixty and was buried at Walshestown Cemetery.
Another well known poet was old Pat Finegan who died recently and his brother Tom who contributed frequently to the "Weekly News".
T Mulready - There were no poets living in this district except one man whose name was Laurence Darcy who lived in Munroe Balrath. When his brother Edward got married he made a very nice poem as follows
