- Old roads
There was an old road going from Loughty to Lennevesta. There was once a woman named Mrs Hastings and she got 4 a day for making the road. She got a cleeve and carried the stones and gravel on her back.
The people say she made it as good as a man would make it. The people used cross the rivers in fords with their horses before bridges were made. If the river was too big for the horse they would have to go about a mile to another bridge and cross the river.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
