My mother knew a man in Mountshannon whose mother was dead.he is still alive to tell the story.he was a young boy at the time. One night he was out on "cuaird" and as he was coming home he turned up his own avenue .He heard a very heavy step and he faced it ,but as he got a good look into the face of the person he knew well who was in it.
Who was in it but his own mother who was dead. He ran and went in the door but when he got to the light he fainted.So a crowd that was inside rose him and gave him a drink and he got out of it in a couple of hours.They say between twelve and two o'clock(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
