    Tá baile beag in-aice Baile Thomas ar a dtugtar Ráth Ranachair air. Tá ráth annseo i d'talamh Thomáis Bhreathnaigh. I lár bairt déic n-acraí ata an ráth seo.
    Tá móta cré thart ar an ráth seo agus d'féadfadh cairt dul thart ar a bhárr. Tá trinsa thart ar an taobh amuigh de móta. Tá fhál mór fiabáin de'n sgeich gil thart ar an taobh isthigh de'n móta. Cúpla bliadhain a shoin do thosuigh fear ag romhair le láidhe taobh isthigh de'n fhál. Fuair sé trí cinn daoine ann. Bhí fatcíos air dul níos fuidhe. Bhí bealach fá-thalamh ann acht níl sí ann anois mar gheall air gur cartuigh se suas é. Bhí sé ag teacht amach taobh amuigh de'n móta. Bhí leacaraca ar bharr an bealach fá-thalamh.
