- A few years ago there was a man named Ned Netsie living in Brackwansha. As a rule he used to go to work at seven o’clock in the morning. One night it happened he was drunk. He awoke at midnight and got ready and set off for his work. As he was passing by an old house known now as “Mollie Hughes old house” he saw a lot of fairies playing and dancing in a field beside it. He said to them, “It is fine and early ye are at work.” And they said to him “Go home the night is for the dead and the day is for the living.”
