    at Easter. It was much dearer to buy in olden days It was made in the usual way. At the hearth fire-places there [?] was a hole in the wall. In the hole the package of tea was put. People thoug[ht] that the tea kept its flavour best in the warm place.
    Tea was drunk out of noggin[s] these were round and very wide wooden vessels with handles. Bowls were used too.
