    A certain man, who lived in Raphoe about 50 years ago, wished to marry a young girl but she would not take him.

    A certain man who lived in Raphoe about 50 years ago wished to marry a young girl, but she would not take him.
    So he left a spell on her, and every night a horse without a head followed her everywhere she went.
    The girl became so much scared that she told the priest.
    So several priests came and "layed" the house so it was never seen again. People say when the man arose this image he was not able to put it down again.
