  1. Travelling folk still call at my home. The same people have been doing so for many years. They are very poor. They do not sell small articles. The travellers are generally welcome. They do not stay longer than a night at a time. They sleep on the floor. They do not bring any food with them. They receive meal, flour, bread and pennies as alms. They travel on foot. They travel singly. The best known are, George Gallagher, James Gallagher, James Hegarty, and James Campbell.
