  1. There are two forges in this district. Thomas Gillfillan has a forge in Sappagh Muff, Co Donegal. There is a tin roof on it. The door opens in two halves and there is one window and one fireplace. The bellows are made of leather and wood. They are not made locally. The blacksmiths all use the same implements. He shoes horses and asses. Thomas Gillfillan's father was a blacksmith.
    Joseph Cole is another blacksmith. His forge is situated at a crossroads. There is a wooden roof on it and the door opens in two halves and there is
