  1. The name of the townland I live in is Carnamoyle. The name in Irish is Carn-na-maol the meaning of that is the bare heigh. The number of families in the townland is about 32 and the number of people about 160.
    The family name most common is Lynch.
    The most of the houses are slated.
    There are about six people over 70 years old in the district. There are three or four houses in ruins.
