  1. We do our churning every week on Friday. Anybody that comes in when we are churning helps us. Our churn is about three feet or three and a half feet in height. It is about four feet round the bottom and about four and a half feet round the top. It takes an hour to churn and then the butter is taken off. We get about three pounds of butter every time we churn. There are five hoops of iron round the churn. The churn staff is about five feet high, and it is heavy. The churn is made of oak and it is strong.
