She never came again and the stranger told the man that is what he wanted of the dog. He got ready and took his horse and saddle and took the dog in front of him and struck the road for better luck. They arrived at the end of their journey. They slept all day and let their horse rest but they took good care of the dog. At dusk they made a start for the field where the man had his cows. They took cover and had the dog ready. The hare came and drank the milk of one cow and when she started off
