    obliged the fiend who then continued his journey.
    Some distance from the forge near the present village of Killucan he was thrown from his horse and killed.
    Needless to say the news of his end came as a great relief to the people of his district. His untimely death after the incident in the forge was probably a coincidence but people believed that it was because of the blacksmith's curse.
