   Melicdrán This was an itch in the sole of the foot. It was supposed to be a germ which came with the dew on the grass and when the people walked barefooted on the grass in the 1. morning they got it. This was cured by rubbing the foot on the bones of a dead ass. 2. Another cure for it was to grind oaten meal in their mouths and put it on their feet then. 3. They also had another cure which was a plaster which the people made themselves. It was
