    After several nights the watchers were rewarded by seeing a man named Boyle who was suspected as the spy hurrying on his way towards Ballyshannon. They at once seixed him, helled him there and then, and thre his body into the stream flowing by. A large stone in the bed of the stream is shown with a red mark on spot on it said to be the blood of Boyle.
    The name "Lugwaragyweal" is derived from Lug= A hollow
    Marle = dead
    [?] = Boyle
    It therefore means the hollow of the dead Boyle.
