    With St Aiden's spire to crown the scene defiant of the breeze.
    Or veiw Bundoran far below the Brighton of the North.
    where strangers who breathe its air from East and West come forth
    Where zephers from the healthful stands so pleasant to the veiw.
    My home so dear I will revere and Melvin's Water's blue.

    Where youth and health is seen to sport in Summer's sun's bright days
    The people here round Melvin dear they never seem to know
    What grief an exile's hearts must feel
    when forced from it to go
