  1. In the townland of Glenboy there is an old fort still to be seen. The field that it is in belongs to a man named Owen Laughlin. It was said that it was built by the danes in the middle of the fort there is a hole and you could go in under the ground for about a half a mile and also in the middle of the forst there is a big white thorn bush. There was a big stone ditch round it but it is not to be seen now.
