  1. In the townland of Glenboy there is an old fort. It is situated on a man's land named George Lipsed. It is a big limestone rock with old bushes growing round it. There is a byre built near the fort. There were cattle in it and one milch cow. A little girl about twelve years of age used to come to milk here every evening just about night fall, and every evening a little red haired boy used to come from the fort and put his shoulder against the byre door.
