  1. The birds that are still in this part of the country.
    All the birds that are to be seen now are the blackbird, the robin, the crow, the swallow, the cuckoo, the corncake, the wren, and the lark.
    The blackbird is of a black colour as you would know from her name. She is a small bird with a long tail. The farmers do not like the blackbird because she tears the thatch off the house.
    The robin is a small bird about the same size as the wren. She is of a brown colour with a red breast. It is said that she followed Our Lord to where he was crucified and that she cleaned the
