- The name of my district is Gortnalibret and the people say that it means the hungry lip. The name of my parish is Cluain Clare and it means Clare's little meadow. The name of my Barony is Lios Clogher and it means the stoney fort.
There are about ninety people living in my district and about twenty four houses. Here are some of the (of) old houses Hugh Mac Marrow's, John Rooneys, Ann Dan's, and some others.
Here are some of the people that are over seventy years Thomas O' Brien, about ninty, John MacHugh about the same, John Loughlin about seventy three and Mrs Mac Dermott about eighty.
