  1. Hidden Treasure.
Legend tells us that treasures are hidden in many parts of our native isles, and that such treasures are watched and guarded by animals.
We are told that a pot of gold is hidden in the rocky glen in Tullinloughlin and the watcher is an eel of enormous size. Our ancestors tell us that men are to find the treasure by digging for it, but that one is to lose his life in a fight with the guardian of the eels.
