    There is a mass bush on the land of my uncle John Hunt at "the Ford

    (continued from previous page)
    At the Abbey of Boyle, there are certain stones, with marks of blood on them. If a person put down his hand, blood would come on it. It is supposed to be the blood of monks who lost their lives in defence of the abbey long ago. The track of the burning can still be seen on the walls.
