    on the top of a high hill called the "monument" and in Fearnaught it was said at the foot of a hill called "Curraghanway". In Mullagh it is said there was a hiding place for priests. The house in which the priests hid was owned by a man named O'Bourd, and it is said that after a few years he was caught by the solidiers and hanged in front of his own door with his beads on his car, a he was left there to feed the ravens.
