  1. The birds most commonly found in this district are the robin, blackbird, thrush, swallow, skylark magpie and the crow.
    We like the robin best because when most other birds migrate in Winter, the little robin stays with us. He often hops on the window sill and chirps to us through the glass.
    Robins build their nests in the sides of deep ditches and banks. The mother bird lays from five to seven eggs which are white, speckled with red
