  1. The name of my home district is Lackanastooka. It is so called because the land is so high that in olden times much oats was grown there.
    There are sixteen families consisting of about a hundred people there. Nine people are over seventy, namely Cornelius Keefe, Dan Twomey, Michael Brien Dan King, Jim Ring. Mrs O'Sullivan, and Mrs. Kelliher.
