  1. There was a little holy well over in Scarteen in a field owned by Daniel Sheehan . The name if the well was Tobar and Bulán. It is said that people used to go to that well for cures long ago because many crutches and sticks were found at the well. The custom was that you should go to the well before sunrise in the morning.
