- Long ago a man lived at Killah whose name was John Shea. He was a shoemaker. He used to get great demand for shoes. He was married and had two sons. Once he got sick and when he got better he had a great deal of work to do. He used to work very hard. One day a tinker called into him. He saw a clock with a pendulum swinging up and down.
