    luck was in Ballybog, to dig a white thorn tree that was at the end of Paddy Carrols house and that I would get a pot of gold. When the old man heard this he knew it was his own house because the tree was at the end of his house. The old man made the best of his way home. When he got home he started to dig the tree. When he got to the roots of the tree he found a pot of gold. He was no longer poor.
