    NA CONAILLIG
    Do bhí ana-chuid talmhan ag na Conaillig. Bhí chuid maith de Catharn agus Faill Mór aca. Sealgaire maith do b'eadh Domhnall O Conaill, agus i gcómhnaidhe nuair a bhiodh sé ag teacht abhaile do théigeadh sé isteach i dtig éigin a bhí ag na tineóntaidhthe agus do bhíodh rud éigin le n-ithe aige ann. Lá amháin do chuaidh sé isteach i dtig agus tar-éis an deinnéara do ghlaodh sé ar fear a' tighe agus dubhairt sé leis "Caithfidh mé rud éigin a thabhairt dhuit anois." "Ní tóghfadh mé aon rud uait" arsan bfear. "Tabharfadh mé comhairle leasa dhuit" arsa Domhnall "Ná téighir go chúirt ríamh."
