    Story.
    About fifty years ago my Grandmother remembers a wedding to be in our house . At a station. The priest married a couple after Mass and the groom had no ring so the priest used the ring of his keys and someone got the local blacksmith to make him one.
    On the wedding day a party was held in the brides home. plenty to eat, and drink. Long ago the straw boys came to the wedding house and sang and danced and asked for drink. They were dressed with straw tied around their legs for trousers and straw hats. Sometimes they travelled long distances on foot and on horseback. Long ago
