    "Begorries" sez the man, an' sorra n'other word he was able ta say wit the dint o' bewildherment for the same as if they came from nowhere, hundhreds o' people sprang up rund him, all small little people, an none o' them was any bigger, than a squirrel sthandin on his hind legs. They all seemed to be in great throuble, an' they war wringin their little hands, an' cryin.
    "Come along wit me" sez the little man, that met him in the dure, an' he led him into wan o' the rooms in the cashtle. It was a big bare room, wit nearly no furniture in it, only a big table, an' three or four chairs. an' left in undher the table, for thats where they ushed ta lay people over board long 'go was two coffins an' they seemed only is if they was only afther bein' closhed.
    "We want ye ta bring these coffins upsthairs" sez the little man, for our family vault, is upsthairs in wan o' the vacant rooms o' the cashtle an' none o' us was able ta carry the coffins upsthairs far, an' we thought that you war the man ta do the job, when we saw ye passin.
    "Well I'll do me besht for ye anyway" sez he
