    There are forged in the parish. The smiths are Barney Lynch, Peter McManus, Edward Trainor and Michael McQuade. Edward Trainor has his forge at a cross roads. The doors are of no special shape. There is one fire place in the forge. The bellows have five valves. They are made in Wexford.
    The smith uses an anvil, sledge-hammerm a rasp, a knife, tongs and a clench cutter.
