- About three hundred years ago, there lived in this neighbourhood a man named "Tyme". He was a famous mower, and was able to mow three acres a day. He was the first man in Ireland to use a scythe. People came from far-off to see him use it. This man was never challenged because he was the only man in the country to use the implement at that time.
