    to Waterford. When he was close on this hill he and some of his officers went to the top of it to take a view of the surrounding districts. When they came to the top he stood on a rock and from that day to this it is called Cromwell's Chair. He said when he was standing on it and when he beheld the surrounding district "Yes this is a country worth fighting for."
